Custom Made 1850's Style Stereoscope

1850’s style Stereoscope similar to the Adam Hilger and Wileman &Co. viewers. Handmade by Cliff Manley. All wood construction, sturdy brass plated steel hardware, with high quality 100mm glass lenses, spaced for the international standard 63.5 mm stereoviews. It is ideally suited to stereo photographs taken with stereo plate cameras with 100mm lenses.

It is made to fit 1/6 to 1/8th plate stereo pairs, or a 9x12cm stereo plate, You can also mount your Daguerreotype, Ambrotype, or Tintypes in this case, Any 4x5 stereo pair, 3 1/2 x 5 prints from beam-splitter stereo cameras, etc. can be viewed and stored in the lid. The lens board moves for focusing and can be removed for viewing stereo pictures in books or on the computer screen.

The Loreo 3D Viewer uses clear prismatic lenses embodied in a plastic-coated (water resistant) card paper which is painted black to reduce internal reflections.

This viewer will work with a variety of stereo images (standard parallel side-by-side configuration), 3.5x5", 4x6", 3x7". for everything from mounting stereo realist slides to viewing standard Holmes stereo views! It is really the stereo viewer for all stereo images on paper or the computer screen. The viewer folds flat for mailing it is lightweight, and fits into a 4" x 6" sleeve that comes with the viewer. Easy to use viewing instructions and a sample photo are printed on the sleeve.
